St. Jo Frontier is Hiring a Barback Near Saint Joseph, MO
Responsible for daily beverage operations including: Stocking, Breaking, and Banquet Set-up.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock and maintain a clean bar.
- Break out bartender at scheduled times.
- Set room layout to meet customer requirements as per function sheet.
- Act as food runner and busser when required.
- Handle equipment with care, maintain a clean storage area and assure all equipment is in good repair.
- Know what services are available at the casino and who to contact for more detailed information.
- Display a positive attitude towards guests and co-workers.
- Assist guests in any function or meeting room requirements.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and reasonable manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 21 years of age. General cashiering background or prior money handling experience. Excellent employee and customer skills are essential. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must be able to follow floor plans, directions from supervisors and communicate well.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to Obtain and Maintain a Missouri Gaming Commission License, and have a Missouri Server's License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
