St. Hope Foundation is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Houston, TX

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the administrative functions of the human resources department.

Responsibilities

Activities of a Human Resources Manager will include, but is not limited to the following:

  • Manage the daily operations of the human resources department, including HR personnel.
  • Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction.
  • Oversee and assist with recruitment efforts and serve as lead for preparing employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
  • Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes.
  • Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required
  • PHR or SPHR designation strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of human resources experience; management experience a plus.
  • Previous experience as part of a centralized HR environment, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Content-knowledge regarding employment law, policies, procedures, and programs
  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset.
  • Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction
  • Adept to problem-solving, conflict resolution, and change management.
  • Experience in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems.
  • Understanding federal HR laws.
  • Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong presentation skills required.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions. Must be able to stand, stoop, lift and walk without restrictions.
