Program Summary:St. David’s Center’s Community Relations and Development Department is responsible for marketing, communication, public relations, advocacy, and fundraising for the organization.As a team, we hit enrollment targets, reach audiences with relevant information, position St. David’s Center as a thought leader in child development and early intervention, advocate for changes in public policy to benefit children and families, and raise $2 million annually. Position Overview:St. David’s Center’s Director of Development will join a team of visionary leaders in resourcing an ambitious, critically important multi-year strategic plan that includes significant growth in reach andservices. This role is responsible for the management and execution of our annual giving program, strategic fundraising planning and plan implementation, donor communication planning andexecution, and leadership of fundraising systems. Major functions include:Generating new and increased giving for prospective and active donors, Overseeing the development budget and annual work plan development,Further developing fundraising systems;Building greater awareness of and enthusiasm about the mission and services of St. David’s Center;Supervising direct reports with accountability to fundraising andEngaging volunteers to fundraise on behalf of St. David’s Center.This position offers the opportunity to work for an agency that is committed to inclusivity and diversity, employee wellness, the professional development of employees and the overall wellness of clients being served.
