St Claire HealthCare is Hiring a Clinic Manager Near Morehead, KY

Position Summary:
The role of the Clinic Manager is to provide daily operational leadership for the Clinic. The role is responsible for leading the department staff to accomplish the mission, goals and strategic plan of the department and the St. Claire HealthCare. This is accomplished through a servant leadership style, promoting teamwork, staff development and staff support, dignity and respect for all staff. Provides relief and high patient volume coverage for clinic positions in delivery of patient care and services. Communicates well with providers and staff as well as external customers. 

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the team oriented, efficient, financially sound and quality performance of assigned departments, including strategic planning, budget development, productivity and quality improvement.
• Stays current and complies with regulatory and accreditation requirements pertaining to assigned department.
• Conducts timely 60-day and annual evaluations of subordinate’s performance to provide professional development and to integrate performance with established mission, vision and critical success factors of the organization. Builds the skills and independence of employees by providing clear, specific feedback utilizing effective coaching techniques and providing development experiences.
• Provides and maintains effective communication with medical staff, community leaders and organizations, and all levels of management and staff level employees.
• Participates in a constructive, collaborative manner on internal and external committees and work groups
• Represents the organization in a professional manner on civic and professional organizations as needed.
• Formulates and meets Critical Success Factors each year as part of the Strategic Planning Process.
• Utilizes techniques and skills to accomplish change, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Applies principles of leadership to achieve organizational mission and goals.
• Uses policies and procedures as standards for evaluation of personnel performance, planning and scheduling, and in conducting the daily activity and direction of the clinic.
• Manages the condition of the equipment, facility and grounds providing a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Assists in preparing the annual budget for the individual unit based on productivity and utilization of resources. 
• Demonstrates principles of management that are based on planning, standards of care, problem-solving process, and accountability.
• Performs all clinical nursing skills according to policy and procedure. (See Primary Care Registered Nurse position description.)
• Delegates tasks appropriately to ancillary personnel.

Education:
Graduate from a school of nursing, LPN or RN preferred, or other clinical education and licensure from an accredited institution may be considered.

Experience: 
Previous experience in a physician office practice preferred. Previous management experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification: 
Must hold a current license from the Kentucky Board of Nursing or applicable clinical licensure from an accredited institution. CPR certification required.
