• Planning and facilitating daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation.
• Implementing activities that accommodate those with special needs.
• Observing participants at events gauges their enjoyment and obtains their feedback to improve events.
• Keeping records regarding event planning resources, participant interest, and other notable information, such as injuries or behavioral incidents.

Requirements:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience with demonstrated success in census development and occupancy management in a nursing home
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care
