The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for building, implementing, and supporting reporting solutions for our enterprise. The right individual will possess experience in all stages of BI project work (requirements and logical design, physical design, implementation, testing, and deployment). The BI Developer should have a firm grasp of BI implementation methodologies and will have had in-depth experience with Microsoft Power BI stack and SSRS Responsibilities Design, develop and deploy Enterprise BI solutions that leverage common data architecture and data optimization approaches Design, develop and deploy interactive data visualizations using Power BI Create effective Power BI dashboards, reports, and applications utilizing best practices Incorporate User Feedback to promote analytics self-service and drive adoption Work with end users to document user requirements for, dashboards, and reports. Analyze user requirements and based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications Collaborate with Power Users to enable Analytics Agility, faster Report Creation and insights Create Training Materials and administer end-user training Administer and Monitor Power BI Service including usage, capacity, and performance tuning needs Design, develop, optimize, maintain, and support data processes Define BI framework model, semantic layers, and Metadata repositories to support Standard reporting, Self Service Reporting and administration. Provide day to day support for Power BI Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline 3 years of experience in a lead role engaging with key business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver large scale analytics solutions and projects using onsite/offshore model 3 years using Power BI to author, publish, schedule, and optimize analytic solutions Proficient in Power BI using import, Direct query and Live connection. Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set Able to implement detailed row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI. Intense knowledge on Power BI Architecture and premium capacities Expertise in implementing incremental refresh on the reports. . Proficient in writing DAX queries in Power BI. Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set. Intense knowledge on Power BI Architecture and premium capacities. A solid understanding of security models in Power BI and row level restrictions. Power BI Certification is a Must 3 Years of Microsoft BI Stack – SSIS, SSAS and SSRS Strong on Power BI – 3 years. Running Advance SQL queries- 4years Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and staff. Proven analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports. Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications.
