The Financial Analyst position will be a dynamic role within a fast moving organization and environment. This individual will be a key member of the team responsible for providing timely and accurate financial data to all levels of management, analysis and insight on various topics, and ensuring a sound internal control environment. This position requires a driven self-starter with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, projects, and changing priorities. Hwy 121 McKinney, TX 75070 Essential Job Functions Assist the accounting team in the monthly close process and the preparation of monthly financial statements and related reports. Prepare journal entries across all segments of the business Prepare reconciliations of critical balance sheet accounts at the appropriate time intervals. Review and resolve general accounting matters and requests from the operational and corporate departments Prepare ad hoc financial and business analyses. Assist with implementing new processes and process improvements related to business initiatives. Maintain critical accounting and finance documentation that will be useful in both bank and financial statement audits. Assist in the preparation of financial statement & bank audits. Requirements Public Accounting experience REQUIRED Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 1-3 years of relevant work experience High capacity for strategic thought and the ability to solve business issues Excellent written and oral communication skills Proficiency in Excel Personable, Organized, & Attention to Detail Must demonstrate that you can work in a hands-on, team driven environment and is adaptable to explosive growth NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
