Heron Club of Prestancia is an upscale assisted living and memory care community in Sarasota, Florida and we are hiring a Director of Maintenance. Our community offers the finest senior living experiences, exquisite cuisine, and a warm atmosphere for those calling or wanting to call this beautiful area home.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Director of Maintenance. The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Managing the coordination and planning all maintenance activities
- Analyzing reliability issues, equipment needs, and predictive or preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure residence and grounds are in good repair and provide a safe and attractive environment
- Overseeing or planning repair, installation, and upkeep activities at assigned communities
- Promote a high sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for our residents, families, and staff
- Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others

Requirements
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must have attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
- Must successfully pass a Level 2 background screening.
