Inside Sales Representative (Customer Service)
Insulectro, a Leading National Distributor is seeking an Inside Sales professional who is a highly motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In this high-profile role you will have daily contact with our strategic customers and have the product knowledge to support their inquiries. The ideal candidate will have working experience in an inside sales, customer service or purchasing role from the electronic materials industry. This is a full-time position based at our Londonderry, New Hampshire facility.


Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
  • Utilize current sales tools and resources to continue to drive accuracy of orders and reduce errors
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with SOP and customer profiles
  • Proactively recommend items needed by the customer to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
  • Increase sale and average order size by utilizing cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale item techniques
  • Monitor shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed; follow up with customers after sales transactions to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, resolve any complaints and identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
  • Determine Internal production priorities by reviewing orders and requirements and production schedules, analyzing equipment and employee availability, coordinating schedules with sales, warehouse, and raw material procurement
  • Interface with all departments to resolve customer related issues
  • Educate customers about terminology, system tools and features, and benefits of products to improve product-related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare quotes and accurately input process orders and returns; provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
  • Interact with customers to gain knowledge of upcoming needs and forecast accordingly
  • Incoming and outgoing phone interaction with customers
  • Use and maintain Salesforce CRM software for leads and new opportunities
  • Participate in order/quote analysis to maintain profitability

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Oracle experience preferred
