Job Description

 
Spur is looking for punctual and experienced customer support specialists for positions with a client in Huntsville, AL starting Monday Feb. 8th, 2021, or as soon as possible. 
 
General duties and responsibilities:
Customer Support Specialists (CSS) will serve as the primary point of contact between the company and its clients’ end users for matters pertinent to; general product inquiries, Tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting, and user account information. In addition, the CSS will also administer shipping and receiving of telecommunications equipment.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma and 1 year of experience in customer service or hospitality related field(s) is preferred.
  • Applicant should possess exemplary communication skills (both written and oral), and should be comfortable engaging with customers with varying dispositions.
  • Applicant should be able to maintain a cheerful and professional demeanor at all times while representing the company.
  • Applicant should be comfortable using computers, handheld devices and other telecommunications mediums to record and to communicate service activities, customer inquiries, responses and resolutions.
  • Applicant should be moderately familiar with (and able to operate) Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Compensation and Benefits:
You  will be compensated at a rate of $18 per hour. The position may require ‘on call’ hours during weekends and holidays in order to field customer support calls and emails. ‘On call’ time will also be compensated at the standard hourly rates. Note: the allocation of office and ‘on call’ hours are subject to change at the discretion of management.

Full time employees will receive 7 paid holidays. Employees will have option to participate in company health insurance plan. Employee will have access to a company-issued laptop and cellular phone. Employee will receive reimbursement for expenses incurred during the course of work performance, provided such expenses were incurred at the direction of company management and were not otherwise elective in nature.
