POSITION: Manufacturing Engineer (Fabrication)
LOCATION: Blackfoot, Idaho
JOB SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing engineering design support such as breaking down CAD models for build sequence and Bill of Material accuracy, design for manufacturing/assembly/service (DFX) recommendations and developing fixtures. Additionally, the Engineer will work on Lean efforts to eliminate waste. Efforts include but are not limited to process improvement, workflow, standard work, setup reduction, and facilitating continuous improvement with employee teams. The Engineer is required to be knowledgeable of current manufacturing processes and will be required to spend significant amounts of time actively working in production departments. Teamwork and customer service skills are vitally important as the Engineer is expected to work directly and indirectly with employees, other supervisors and managers, customers, and outside vendors. Quality of workmanship, attention to detail, and self-motivation are important assets for this position. The Engineer will consistently demonstrate high levels of responsibility and accountability working effectively and efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including fabrication.
Experience reading instructional drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of processes, equipment, parts, systems, tools, and machinery required in production and fabrication.
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent troubleshooting, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work with ERP system, CAD, spreadsheets, word processing documents, and other applicable computer systems and software.
