Immediate opening to join our small Lab device team!

As part of a small and fast-paced team, this position is a hands on role, supporting customers by answering phones, interacting with the public/walk-in customers, data entry, and fulfilling orders. We are entering our busy season with heavy volumes of calls and data entry that require multi-tasking and attention to detail. During peak times, we can receive over 80 calls/day and process thousands of test kits daily. 

Ideal candidate has 2 years experience assisting customers from start to finish fulfilling customer orders in an office environment. 

We are very customer-centric and need someone who has a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Long term growth depends on ability to learn about the radon industry and our business including products, services, and customer base. 

Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:30pm to 5:00pm

Occasional overtime and Saturdays (during busy season).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following; other duties may be assigned.

• Answer phones and process orders in a professional and timely manner.
• Respond to customer requests, resolve customer problems, answer questions, record issues and provide promotional information as applicable, or direct calls as necessary.
• Coordinate standard customer inquiries via phone, in-person, and email concerning products and services.
• Perform standard activities associated with the receipt and processing of customer orders including data entry into database order system, printing labels, preparing products to be shipped, according to internal processes and procedures.

Requirements

Specific Skills:

• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to details are an absolute must.
• Strong computer Skills with working knowledge of MS Office and data entry - Typing at 60 wpm or above preferred
• Experience with order entry or Point of service sales strongly preferred
• Strong customer service skills, including ability to handle a large volume of calls and maintaining composure and attention to quality in professional manner.

Education/Experience Required:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in providing customer service in office environment preferred.

Physical Requirements: This position moves throughout the facility, so must be able and willing to bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 20 pounds frequently; stand and walk throughout the facility; work in potentially dusty and dirty conditions; handle and store materials; clean and maintain a safe working environment.
