Springwell is seeking a Billing Specialist! The Billing Specialist will be an integral member of the Finance Team in a growing agency!

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Billing Specialist will perform a variety of functions related to consumer record keeping, billing and data entry. The billing specialist should be comfortable making and taking telephone calls from consumers and vendors around billing issues.

Our successful candidate will have a positive attitude, flexibility, be detail oriented and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position has the ability to work out of either Waltham or Marlborough. A hybrid schedule to work some time remotely is available but in-office time will be required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Verify vendor bills and respond to errors.
• Update Consumer Care Plans and add suspensions within Provider Direct.
• Investigate billing errors and work with the appropriate parties to resolve as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in business or billing experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 1-3 years' accounting or billing experience.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaborative work style.
• Working knowledge of Excel.
• Reliable transportation required.
