Hotel: Springfield University Plaza Transportation Specialist Part time Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the Transportation Specialist is to provide guests with an excellent transportation experience, ensuring that guests are greeted and transported to and from requested destinations. Work Performed: The Transportation Specialist will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: Drive property-designated vehicles to and from guest destinations including, but not limited to, local airports, restaurants, theaters, sporting events, convention centers, etc.; Assist guests with luggage; Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner; Respond to guest inquiries and requests; Resolve guest concerns (escalate as appropriate) ; Ensure proper disinfecting/sanitization/cleaning of shuttles, front drive, and lobby; Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; and Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. Qualifications: Required Prior Experience: Prior customer service experience Preferred Prior Experience: Hospitality industry experience Preferred Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Licenses/ Certification: Valid Class E Missouri state driver’s license and adhere to all company guidelines regarding moving violations.
