Springfield Hospital is Hiring a RN (IPCU) - FT/72 Nights Near Springfield, VT

Description

The Registered Nurse will:

  • Incorporate the appropriate assessment and intervention skills, utilizing the nursing process, in the delivery of nursing care on their unit for a specified group of patients on a designated shift.
  • Communicate with patients, team members and management in an accurate and timely manner using written and verbal skills effectively and considerately.
  • Promote compassionate, efficient, cost-effective and quality patient care.
  • Incorporate teaching principles into practice and demonstrate competence in health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Demonstrate qualities consistent with the role applying leadership skills appropriately.
  • Apply critical thinking skills and consider alternatives in the delivery of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain human care relationships and integrate the influence of the human experience of health, illness and/or healing.
  • Apply knowledge integration skills for the patient populations served within the Inpatient Care Unit.

 Floating to other departments when there is low census may be required.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN license in Vermont
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year medical/surgical and telemetry experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
