The ideal Project Engineer candidate will have excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. The candidate will have a proven track record of preparing and executing construction project plans and programs, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the company’s procedures and the project needs. Project Engineers work closely with the Project Manager and other team members.

The right candidate will be:

1. Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with time sensitive performance schedule(s) and deadlines.
2. Able to assist the Project Manager with subcontractor and supplier purchasing and coordination, submittal review, change order takeoff, cost control, scheduling, building customer relationships and other project support functions.
3. Detailed oriented to track materials, labor hours, order equipment and communicate information to inform field operations of project status.
4. Able to support engineering and construction projects by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project.

To land this role, you need to have ...

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office which includes: Access, Outlook, Excel, Accubid, Forefront, Enterprise, Live Count or equivalent.
3. Must have analytical and mathematical skills, quick thinking, and a solid understanding of the main principles of engineering, construction, and architecture.
4. Prefer previous work experience in the field and demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, coordinating resources as well as the ability to proactively analyze data and solve problems.
