Spotts, Stevens and McCoy is Hiring a Survey Technician Near Lititz, PA

Description

SSM is currently recruiting for Survey Technician who will operate all field surveying instruments, including robotic survey instruments, GPS surveying instruments, and auto-levels. In addition, the Survey Technician will learn to download field data to be used in preparing AutoCAD drawings in Civil3D.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Willingness to take on a challenge and utilize critical thinking. 
  • No hesitation to work outdoors in all conditions.
  • Thrives in a team environment.

Qualifications:

  • AS in Surveying Technology or related technical school and/or college degree or commensurate experience preferred.
  • Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) highly preferred. 
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil3d and Robotic Total Station and data collectors. 
  • Ability to work outside in all conditions. 
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and other computer software.
  • Valid PA driver’s license.
