SpotOn is Hiring a Total Rewards Coordinator Near Chicago, IL

SpotOn Total Rewards Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to the Total Rewards function including Benefits, Compensation, Leaves, HRIS, and 401(k). 

We are seeking someone who is highly organized, responsive and committed to meeting deliverable deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will be excited to learn new systems, improve upon current practices, support ongoing communication and education initiatives and interact directly with employees at all levels. This role is a high-touch, employee-centric role that will provide an incredible opportunity for growth, experience and visibility within Total Rewards. 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), wellness benefits, and tuition reimbursement. 
  • Be the first level support for all employee inquiries regarding Total Rewards
  • Partner with benefit broker to assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims.
  • Conduct new hire benefits orientations, explain benefits enrollment process, send enrollment reminders to applicable employees, and process any qualifying life events (QLEs)
  • Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in the HRIS system and confirm payroll deduction.
  • Ensure and maintain data integrity in our benefits HRIS systems with a high level of accuracy. Troubleshoot any benefit HRIS issues. 
  • Audit payroll registers to confirm benefits are deducted correctly for new hires, terms, LOAs, and QLEs. 
  • Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs. Ensure distribution of required employee notices.
  • Completes records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Assist in the creation of standardized tools and templates, ensuring consistency in our processes across the company
  • Create documentation and procedures for qualifying life events, enrollment troubleshooting issues, compensation changes, and proactively find opportunities for process improvement
  • Assist manager in obtaining statistics and information in the renewal process of any health, life and retirement plans that benefit the company.
  • Assist with various people programs involving benefits, compensation, 401(k), Total Rewards education initiatives, wellness, and communication
  • Effectively partner cross functionally with Talent, HR Business Partners, Finance, Payroll, and managers across the organization
  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed

About You:

  • Previous experience in a HR administrative support or employee benefits role for a busy organization a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and empathize with others and anticipate, respond, and pivot to the needs of the employees and business
  • Passionate for providing an exceptional employee experience
  • Highly organized and have a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with total discretion
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to be a team player and problem solver
  • Ability to own a project with varying levels of instruction and run with it
  • Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite experience
  • Experience in ADP and other HR systems a plus

Compensation:

  • The hourly pay range is $28 - $33/hour 
  • Please note the hourly pay range listed is just one component of a competitive compensation package which includes a company stock plan
  • Offers will be reflective of the candidate’s location and experience.
