SpotOn is Hiring a Technical Program Manager (Integrations) Near Chicago, IL

That’s where you come in. We're looking for a Technical Program Manager that can work with a variety of stakeholders to drive progress on out integrations development. Clearly defining success, driving consensus with a bias towards action, and keeping the end customer in mind, you'll make pages of plans then ensure everyone is on the same one.

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Serve as matrixed Program Manager on multiple technology initiatives
  • Be a key driver in building an effective process for cross functional teams to collaborate and effectively managing both product and project level initiatives
  • Ensure business requirements are met and tracked through visual and technical design
  • Develop and drive functional agile best practices
  • Serve as the liaison between SMEs and Product to deliver product initiatives
  • Plan, scope, resource, coordinate, communicate status, manage risks and track progress across multiple product work streams
  • Work with various product organizations across SpotOn to ensure functional requirements are understood, prioritized and delivered
  • Work closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle to resolve blockers, influence decisions, address questions, and balance between functionality and user experience across multiple timezones (North America, India, and Europe)
  • Prepare and present project status updates to key stakeholders, including executive management. 
  • Meet with key team members as necessary to better understand risks and blockers and help to mitigate risks and unblock people. 

Qualifications

  • 5 years of overall experience as a technical program manager in an engineering organization
  • ​​Comfortable with uncertainty, being able to build and run at the same time, energized by a complex and evolving environment
  • Experience driving diverse and/or company-wide programs
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to influence, develop productive working relationships, and lead technical teams and key stakeholders from different business functions
  • ​​Ability to exercise technical judgment to keep goals for programs, projects and products attainable within a given timeline
  • Able to bring order to a complex situation with various stakeholders approaching a strategic problem in different ways
  • Ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise and to work with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience with Jira or other project management tools is preferred
  • Good understanding technical systems as they pertain to building complex, cross-system integrations (eg, APIs, asynchronous messaging systems, etc)
  • Experience working with Salesforce and/or Netsuite
