Responsibilities:

• Lead by example by following the best practices of SpotOn SDLC and introducing your own ideas to make agile, code reviews, and mentorship work for our team.
• Lead the implementation of continuous deployment pipelines and containerization of applications using Kubernetes and AWS
• Build full stack web application using TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Build single sign-on functionality using Okta
• Build an integration between web applications and a business intelligence tool
• Rearchitect legacy web applications
• Maintain existing ETL pipelines using Kafka and Golang
• Monitor, tune, and scale each layer of the web application using DataDog

Qualifications:

• 4 years of full-stack development experience
• 2 years of experience modeling business processes in a relational database
• Experience developing integrations with business intelligence tools (i.e. Looker)
• Experience architecting integrations with identity providers (we use Okta)
• Building and maintaining production ETL processes
• Experience with containerizing applications from scratch
• Experience working on a small team (3-5 members)
• Experience working across timezones with a global team
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Previous experience working in a small, fast-paced, agile team
• Comfortability pushing back on obstacles and voicing concerns
