As a Deployment Specialist at SpotOn, you will be responsible for configuring hardware with software for the client to use. You may be tasked with picking, assembling, configuring, quality checking, and shipping product assemblies for work and sales orders in a warehouse or distribution center. A deployment specialist will also be responsible for testing the configured hardware to ensure SpotOn software can run transactions for the client. 

Specifically, you will perform an array of functions that may include understanding and recognizing various hardware components and assemblies; recognizing and prioritizing orders by type; picking and filling orders from inventory; preparing various hardware assets for deployment to specific clients; merging and quality checking member items for assembly components on an order; preparing, packing, and shipping orders; and/or organizing and counting inventory in the warehouse.

Deployment specialists must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills. They must be able to quickly identify the items that need to be fulfilled on work orders and sales orders and quickly assemble, configure, test, quality check, trouble shoot, and fulfill orders. 

This position provides daily direct stakeholder engagement, requiring excellent communication and project management skills. Interaction with the many areas of our organization is required to ensure our client is provided with the highest quality of support and care.

The Deployment Specialist position responsibilities:

• Operate material handling equipment such as: pallet jack, dolly, dock ramp, strapping machine and forklift
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in shipping area.
• Maintains inventory, recording amounts of assets picked and configured. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment

Office Operations:

• Client Support (Providing unparalleled attention to detail and sense of urgency)
• Order Management (read and understand work and sales order data, data entry) 

• Inventory Management (data entry)
• Use of computer and proprietary software (NetSuite, Google Email, Google Sheets, and Google Docs)

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma (GED accepted) or higher, prefer some college. 
• Experience working in teams.
• Experience with Occupational Safety.
• Excellent attention to detail and a self-starter.
• Demonstrated experience working within warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse sets of hardware and software.
• Experience with warehouse software tools and systems: NetSuite, Warehouse Management System, UPS WorldShip, FedEx SHip Manager, etc.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs. with the use of material handling equipment (pallet jack)
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or lean
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
