Position Summary

The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Program and adjust HMI programs to specific jobs. 

• Configure networking devices and local networks. 

• Develop product

• Oversee customer service and service and maintenance of Spire product

• Determine warranty status on all jobs

• Oversee troubleshooting and customer support

• Aid in assembly quality control

• Aid with system installation

• Aid in creating product and operations manuals

• Create troubleshooting manuals and guides

• Travel for service repair and maintenance

• Develop system specifications per job

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

•  2 years experience with Mechanical Engineering/Product Design.

• BS degree in either Mechanical, Controls, or Mechatronics Engineering or other related fields.

• Must be able to pass federal background checks to gain entry to restricted training sites

• Ability to read and write ladder logic, structured text, and function block.

• Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics

• Proficient with HMI programming

• Familiarity with Mitsubishi software is a plus

• Familiarity with PLCs is a plus

• Great customer service skills as this individual will also serve as a traveling technician. 

• Ability to problem-solve on the spot and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems

• Familiarity with RS485 is a plus

• Office-type setting with occasional trips to production to confirm prototype builds. 

• Product assembly and testing may be required.

• Frequent travel to various locations throughout th eUnited Stats to provide onsite support.

• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, infrequently lift up to 75 lbs.
