Job Title: Event Manager- A/V

Position Summary:

The Event Manager will be accountable for event planning functions for various events and event related activities. This position will also be responsible for the operations, management, production, and oversite of our in-venue video board.

Responsibilities:

• Yearly and Event Based Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Speed Street/Rock the Roval fan zone setup and staging etc.
• Assist with concert support and technology as needed for all events and rentals at CMS. This also includes management of talent riders and band logistics.
• Building event plans for various events and event related functions.
• Event lead for events as assigned.
• Develop staffing plans for each event or rental in need of Speedway TV use.
• Work with the sales and events departments to build a Speedway TV event plan.
• Hire producers, sound engineers, cameras crews, talent, and all related team members needed to run in-venue Speedway TV operations.
• Work with vendors to staff all events and rentals at CMS for Speedway TV needs.
• Maintain proper working order of the Speedway TV. Work with vendors and in-house staff to ensure efficient operation of the Speedway TV board.
• Ensure all systems are up-to-date and in proper working condition.
• Work with corporate development to build and maintain on-going plans to upgrade equipment and maintain the tv as needed.
• Build run-of-show schedules for Speedway TV content. Work with all departments to compile sponsor obligations, tv commercials, logos, PA reads, and all related material to provide a first class show. This would include all events and rentals when Speedway TV is in use.
• Manage fiber feeds and continuously map as needed throughout the year.
• Work with partners to ensure a cohesive operation of TV integration. This would include live streams, live TV production, or event related content.
• Maintain a proper work environment and stock inventory as needed for TV production room.
• Manage technology and upgrades as needed for the Speedway TV board and our in-house scoreboard.
• Manage all media boards on property, which include: Speedway TV, main entrance sign, zMAX Dragway main entrance sign, media center TV screen, and all other in-venue A/V as needed.
• Manage our A/V for all buildings on property at CMS.
• Manage our state-of-the-art Dente sound system. Manage all sounds systems on property which include: CMS, zMAX Dragway, The Dirt Track @ Charlotte, media center, paddock club, Dragway pavilion, winners Circle lounge, speedway club, etc.
• Assist the CMS Events Department as needed for any event support needed.

• All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements: Applicant must be a positive people-oriented person, hardworking, and highly motivated. Must be proficient in Audio Visual/Video Production with an emphasis on management of A/V production and be extremely detailed.
