The CNC Machinist has primary responsibility to accurately set up and operate machine tools.

What does a CNC Machinist do for SpecSys? They:

  • Machine set up for parts run for lathes or vertical mills
  • Follow guidelines to arrange tooling and /or parts in a certain order
  • Operate and control equipment responsibly and safely
  • Inspect and evaluate the quality of piece parts

What do we look for in a great candidate? Someone who:

  • Can to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Has knowledge of, or willingness to learn, ISO G code programming for either lathes or vertical mills
  • Has the ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints to ensure products are machined correctly
  • Has the ability to understand, and willingness to follow, existing QC processes
  • Is able to bend, crawl and be on feet for 8 plus hours per work day
  • Has a CNC Precision Manufacturing Technician AAS Degree, Technician Diploma or Certificate
