Accounts Payable Manager

Responsibilities:

· Manages and leads the AP team comprising of six team members.

· Responsible to direct reports for the following:

o Acts as first level of management for routine questions and transactions.

o Provides consistent constructive feedback/recognition frequently.

o Sets a leadership example to ensure direct reports are meeting performance goals and other expectations.

o Communicating with Controller on performance, plans, and needs of individual direct reports.

· Responsible for driving improvements throughout the team by:

o Develop and implement plans to streamline accounts payable processes and reduce errors in the process

o Identify process improvements and drive the implementation of the new processes.

· Responsible for establishing policies and procedures for accounts payable and ensuring compliance by the AP team.

· Manages the AP integration process for newly acquired clinics.

· Recruit, train and retain employees with ability and willingness to achieve steady state and the drive, skills, and determination to build processes and teams capable of world class results.

· Oversees Form 1099 and other payable related filings.

· Reconciles accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger.

· Assists the Controller with other tasks, as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.

· Experience with multiple software programs, including Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and ERP Systems (Sage Intacct preferred).

· Demonstrated ability to handle conflicting tasks and problem solving.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment.

· Excellent attention to detail. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, verifies own work to ensure quality work product.

· Dependable self-starter with solid organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work efficiently.

· Meets productivity standards within required timelines.
