Specialized is looking for a Brand Development Manager—Key Accounts to drive brand and sales efforts with key national and strategic partners. The position is core to Specialized’ s continued success and we are looking for an inspired leader and experienced market developer to ignite growth with our key accounts.

The BDM or Strategic Partnerships is responsible for growing expanding both existing and new key partnerships across the nation. The primary objectives of the role are to accelerate revenue growth and increase market share while at the same time elevating the brand presentation and ensuring alignment with Specialized business and category goals. This teammate will focus on collaborative growth opportunities for Specialized and our key retail partners. These efforts will require teamwork and collaboration with our retailers, riders, as well as coordination with internal stakeholders

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Responsible for management of key accounts and the support of these customers through promotional plans, product mix, business reviews and planning
  • Collaboratively build a scalable set of programs and processes. to support the growth of strategic business partners.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with key accounts and implement key actions in a timely manner.
  • Establish, implement, and measure joint business development initiatives and promotional programs and events within assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Key participant in development of strategic sales direction, initiatives, and goals,
  • Key participant in sales meetings and trade shows.
  • Coordinate and conduct brand education and product training events with assigned account group.
  • Identify growth and expansion opportunities.
  • Ensure to exceed established service level standards.
  • Analyze merchandise mix and make recommendations to improve the performance of Specialized in the stores and report back to both Specialized leadership and key accounts.
  • Ensure performance against key business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance to various brand agreements are upheld.
  • Travel is required in this position, seasonally for quarterly management meetings and top to tops, store checks, estimated at 30-50% per month on average.

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

  • Minimum of 4 years in sales experience in a business-to business sales environment required.
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Oracle or Salesforce.com experience an advantage.
  • Familiarity with lightspeed, smartetailing, room58, and other common sales platforms
  • Must have experience producing and presenting sales presentations.

Pay

Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:

California Base Pay Range: $44,782 - $117,875

Colorado Base Pay Range: $42,543 - $108,052

New York City and Westchester County Base Pay Range: $44,782 - $117,875

Washington Base Pay Range: $44,782 - $112,963

At Specialized, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and will depend on your work experience, skills, certification, and location.
