Job Description
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support—a potential growth opportunity with an established and growing company.
Responsibilities:
Process credit applications by obtaining credit references and running credit reports
Call customers to obtain additional financial and background information
Assemble financial reports for upper management on a monthly/quarterly basis
Clean up accounts by tracking down payment information that needs to be posted
Other administrative duties as needed
Skills:
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures
Data entry skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
