Spatial Front provides IT solutions to federal, state, and local governments, and the private sector. We are looking for a Linux System Administrator to join our team in Warrenton, VA. This is a full-time position and is fully funded.

Responsibilities:

• Develops maintenance and logistics documentation for the operations and maintenance of operational systems.
• Supports the performance of operations and maintenance for these systems including hardware availability, reliability, and trend analysis.
• Supports the implementation and maintenance of TFMS, NTML, and DSP including documenting and reviewing procedures.
• Supports the Air Traffic System Command Center’s use of TFMS products.
• Provides technical TFMS program knowledge to the NAS to provide services to include analysis to assist in making operational decisions.
• Provides 24x7x365 operations supporting the NAS field operations in maintaining the availability of all TFMS sites.
• Maintains TFMS software user manual and documents.
• Assists in the implementation of IT system architecture.
• Provides maintenance engineering support and assistance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline with an emphasis in maintenance and operations.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Progressive experience supporting 24/7 operations, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment, including virtual environment technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with software development for monitoring and tracking equipment performance (Ticketing Systems).
• Demonstrated experience in the troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment, experience working and participating with other engineers and technicians in the investigation, analysis, testing, diagnosis, modification and collection of complex electronic systems, sub-systems and equipment.
• Linux experience preferred.

• The salary for this position is $50,000 - $90,000 annually
