Looking for an outgoing problem solver with a positive attitude to as a property manager.
Role:
· Assisting with miscellaneous errands (Car required)
· Draft emails and assist with general correspondences and calls with tenants, contractors, and vendors.
· Track rent payments and communicate with tenants on payment matters.
· Receive and track maintenance requests. Get bids from contractors and vendors for repairs. Then coordinate repairs with vendors and tenants.
· Put in place systems and manage on-going processes (snow removal, grass cutting, cleaners, etc.)
· Assist in booking management and communication for short-term rentals.
· Check on properties to ensure that they have been cleaned and tasks completed by other vendors.
· Assist in tracking expenses and keeping records
· Managing schedules and delegating tasks for cleaners and other vendors.
· Develop word documents, proofread documents, and develop basic excel spreadsheets.
· Online tasks: research, online posts, online shopping.
· Be on call for issues that might come up on weekends and evenings (this is rare, but can happen)
· Minor property tasks that might come up (Example: changing a lightbulb, help with cleaning (when a cleaner fall through), watering plants, changing a door lock).
· Preference (optional - but a bonus): Handyman skills / construction skills to be able to do repairs/ work at properties.
Experience and Skills:
· People skills: Professional interpersonal skills in person, online, and on the phone.
· Flexible and problem-solving mindset
· Organized: Possess strong organizational skills and a passion for getting things done quickly and correctly
· Writing skills and experience with Word, Excel, and Gmail.
· Reliable and communicative
· Self-motivated and can independently define and manage tasks.
· Experience with property management, real estate, handyman/construction or related.
· Experience doing book-keeping and using quickbooks (preferred, but not required)
· Repair, construction, handyman experience (preferred, but not required)

Hours: Generally 15 to 25 hours a week. Possibility to expand hours is interested.
