SPARC Group, LLC is Hiring a Compensation Analyst Near Lyndhurst, NJ

Overview

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for the overall Store Compensation program administration and analysis. This individual will own minimum wage compliance and compression analysis, maintaining store salary guidelines in partnership with Finance and Store Operations, and the administration of stores bonus programs. This role will work closely with HR generalists to support the corporate and field populations with compensation analysis and recommendations.

Responsible for working with highly sensitive and confidential information and maintaining the confidentiality of information used during the normal course of business.

Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for all store related inquiries relative to pay, compliance and incentive programs
  • Manage the monthly Sales Bonus Program calculation in partnership with Finance, Operations and Payroll
  • Keep abreast of compliance rules relative to pay (i.e. minimum wage, salary thresholds, etc.) across US and Canada
  • Manage all minimum wage updates for impacted employees and conduct compression analysis
  • Maintain minimum wage table within HCM (Dayforce)
  • Own the Salary and Wage Guidelines and Store Staffing Parameter documents – which are reviewed and updated annually and include conducting market analysis
  • Propose pay rate changes based on external and internal analysis
  • Develop and generate reports for various compensation analyses
  • Ongoing compensation support to the business and/or manager

Qualifications

  • 2 years minimum of experience working in a compensation-related function in retail
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or related field or equivalent education
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • Ability to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
  • Attention to detail and handling of confidential information appropriately
  • Strong listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with an HCM (HRIS) reporting functions – Ceridian Dayforce a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
