Description
Exempt level, full-time position. Responsible for the leadership of the information technology functions at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center (SPRHC). Oversees and assures computer systems are updated and align with SPRHC’s organizational goals. Develops, launches and enhance SPRHC’s organizational applications according to standard protocols and procedures.
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Collaborate with SPRHC Departments to understand IT requirements, needs and preferences. Install, update and support systems accordingly.
• Continually evaluate and recommend updates for the facility’s current IT systems to find any risks, vulnerabilities and improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of SPRHC’s computing needs.
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to facility policies, procedures and protocols.
• Audit systems and assess outcomes.
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
• Assist with the development and testing of newly designed products for operational integrity and function
• Oversee annual budget for IT Department and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Perform, in an emergency role, during facility disasters as determined by facility policy.
Salary Range: $81,931 - $105,040 per year (based on qualifications/experience). Position includes full-time benefits including paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance, pet insurance, AFLAC employer, 403B retirement savings plan and much more!
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or closely related field. Three to five years of work experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation. Previous work experience in clinical software systems is preferred.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Excellent working knowledge of technical management, information analysis of computer hardware/software systems.
• Ability to lead and teach others.
• Ability to explain highly technical concepts in simple terms.
• Advanced knowledge of best computer security practices.
• Ability to conduct relevant research and analysis skills.
