Description
Full-time position to provide food service support to the patients and residents at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center. Salary range: $13.90 - $17.54 based on qualifications. $500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions (adjust for part-time status).
Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center's Dietary Department has need for a full-time Cook. Participates in dietary team that provides full meal preparation for Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center (SPRHC) residents, patients, and employees. Follows prescribed meal planning guides/recipes for food preparation. Adheres to standard food preparation/kitchen management protocols.
• Promotes the mission, vision and values of SPRHC.
• Prepares food items as assigned.
• Reviews production sheet for upcoming menu schedule to pre-plan/prepare for menu items.
• Checks food supplies throughout shift to ensure appropriate amounts available for serving.
• Completes daily check of food supplies for spoiled/unsuitable foods. Reviews expiration dates and rotates stock as necessary.
• Establishes food line order and ensure presentation of food items is appropriate at all times.
• Completes regular cleaning of food preparation sites, cooking/baking equipment, steamer, vents, utensil drawers, etc.
• Ensures completion of temperature logs accurately.
Requirements
High School Diploma is required. Previous short-order cooking experience is preferred.
