Work Site: Patuxent River, MD
Work Location: Remote (see COVID-19 procedures below)

**COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however training/tasking may require on-site work a few days per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinates, architects, and maintains Docker container and cloud native solutions
• Modernizes applications into microservices and assists with implementing API management tools
• Develops and manages effective deployment and migration strategies for software and application data through the deployment process (i.e. development, testing, staging and production environments)
• Work towards modernizing legacy applications to a cloud environment
• Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications and Experience:
Required:

• Experience providing web applications development support
• OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Microservice experience
• Working knowledge of DevOps support processes

Desired:

• AWS/Cloud data and application provisioning
• On-prem to cloud migration implementation and support

Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, active secret or interim secret is preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BS/BA or AA/AS degree OR HS and 2 years related experience.
