Job Description
To ensure the ultimate comfort, cleanliness and safety of all guest and colleagues. Meeting all standards as expected by Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Maintaining superior standards of presentation, maintenance and cleanliness of the laundry department.

• Responsible for the efficient, effective and safe processing of linens and terry
• Monitors equipment operation, communicating mechanical problem to laundry manager and laundry mechanic.
• Communicate within department when any issue is present
• Empowered to think, act and make decisions
• Performs other duties as assigned by the laundry Manger
• Ensures the proper pressing and folding of linens and terry
• Ensures proper presentation, cleanliness of linens and terry
• Inspection of all linens and terry before going into carts

Qualifications

• Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
• Adhere to Fairmont Grooming Standards
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming.
