Southwind Building Products is Hiring a Territory Sales Manager Near Layland, WV

Southwind Building Products has immediate opening for Territory Managers.

We are currently the fastest growing manufacturer of carpet and hard surfaces in the US and due to our exceptional growth, we are looking for outside B2B salespeople to join our team.

JOB OVERVIEW:

· This is a full time, 5 days a week position with sales responsibilities of floor covering products in a clearly defined geography.

· This is not a trainee position. You must be able to demonstrate that you have the education, previous job experience, selling and behavior skills required to be successful

· You also must possess the soft skills of communication, prospecting, first impression people skills and the art of influence and persuasion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop a sales plan to build market share in alignment of business objectives

· Compile a list of perspective customers in a variety of sectors as leads

· Create a monthly travel plan

· Make daily cold calls opening new accounts

· In person sales calls on existing customers growing monthly account activity

· Sale of Carpet rolls and Hard Surface pallets

· Sell, set up and maintain merchandising samples of hard & soft surface products

· Submit required reports, market activity and itineraries in requested timeframe

· Develop in-depth product, selling, presentation and time management skills

· Other duties as required by company

QUALIFICATIONS:

· B2 B Building Material or preferably floor covering experience.

· Reliable vehicle to carry samples

· Must live in territory boundary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
