Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Head of Production for Roofing, Siding, Windows, Decks, and Doors. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple crews and managing customer communications to ensure efficient and successful completion of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, exceptional organizational and leadership abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Crew Management: Oversee and manage multiple production crews, including roofers, siding installers, window and door technicians, and deck builders.
Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure that crew members are adequately trained and equipped to carry out their responsibilities.
Monitor crew performance, evaluate their efficiency, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and quality of work.

Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the sales team and project managers to plan and schedule projects effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Review project specifications, blueprints, and requirements to ensure accurate understanding and compliance by the production crews.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for projects.
Monitor project progress, address any issues or delays promptly, and implement corrective measures as necessary to meet deadlines.

Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce high-quality standards for all projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify any deficiencies or areas for improvement.
Provide guidance and support to production crews to ensure consistent delivery of superior workmanship.

Customer Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for customers, maintaining regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Provide updates on project status, milestones, and any necessary modifications to ensure customer satisfaction.

Safety and Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment.
Conduct safety training sessions and implement safety measures to minimize accidents and injuries.
Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the construction industry, preferably in roofing, siding, windows, decks, and doors.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, crews, and other stakeholders.
• Solid organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
