The Digital Copywriter Intern supports various teams to concept, create, and produce content across many brand communication vehicles, both internal and external, with a consistent and modern brand voice. Supports Southern Tide’s eCommerce team in planning and calendarizing seasonal copy strategies as well as in maintaining brand voice standards. Crew Position: Writes product descriptions for website Brainstorm and collaborate on new ideas and strategies. Create blog posts and edits existing posts to maximize best SEO practices. Edits and creates on page copy. Carries out projects assigned to them and ensures high quality of the final product. Stays up to date with new innovations and industry trends. Support the creation of eye catching and innovative headlines and copy. What all hands on deck looks like... Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated, competitive, upbeat Passionate about fashion and following trends Possesses a journalistic approach and knows what makes a great story Are able to execute quickly with a high level of grit Know the ropes... Currently enrolled in fashion, merchandising, business, marketing, eCommerce, or similar degree. Solid knowledge of how copy relates to art, design and graphics. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills. Proficiency in some or all the following programs: Adobe InDesign, InCopy, Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet applications.
