*NOTE* This position consists of frequent driving and also providing help with miscellaneous labor in the shop when there are no deliveries.

• Drives gasoline or diesel powered 16’ to 24’ flatbed trucks to transport steel or related items to work job sites in NJ, PA, and DE area and as necessary.
• Must be able to back trucks in and out of shop loading dock, receiving docks, and service bays.
• Requires valid driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report, DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Contacts supervisor upon arrival and before leaving destinations.
• Responsible for the accuracy of the delivery ticket.
• Responsible for the accuracy/quality/safety of the items designated for pick up.
• Inspects trucks for defects before and after trips and reports any issues to supervisor.
• Maintains vehicle logs and mileage reports.
• Ensures and practices safety measures for truck driving and at job site facilities.
• Works in the steel shop/yard when there are no deliveries.
• Ensures safe securement of loads per company standards.
• Performs general physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• All other duties as assigned.

Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
