Marketing Manager
Southern Industries, the southeast's largest and oldest home improvement company, is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Marketing Manager to lead our canvass team.
Our Marketing Managers are in the field with their team working 6 days a week.
The Canvass Team provides the first interaction with a homeowner generally at their home. They are the driving force of the Marketing Department.
A canvass team consists of 2 Canvassers, 1 Canvas Team Lead and 1 Marketing Manager.
High Energy, Strong face to face communication skills and above average intelligence are a must!
Marketing Manager will utilize face to face communication skills to increase brand awareness and generate leads for our company's sales team. This is an mid level position that will allow you to acquire so many transferable skills and allow you to grow your current skill set. Marketing Managers are brought in with the expectation of eventually promoting to other positions within our company for example Outside Sales Representatives.
Marketing Managers are trained on product knowledge and our marketing process. They in turn take take the lead in training their team and establishing goals.
They are also responsible for inputting sales information into our sales platform currently Salesforce in addition to using our company phone app.

Our canvass/neighborhood marketing teams represent our company knocking on doors in neighborhoods.
We generate leads for our sales department with occasional tradeshows and community events throughout the city.
- $800.00-$1,000.00 a week Salary; Typical Direct Sales Marketing Managers can earn between $40,000 - $75,000 annually We DO NOT Cap Commissions!
- $20.00 per Demo Set up
- 2% commission on all sales
- $1,250.00 Monthly Bonus for meeting Sales Goals
- Help Recruit and develop your team of canvassers
- Set Goals for your Team
- Able to initiate conversation and connect with people
- Money motivated with strong work ethic
- Serve with a cheerful attitude while on your feet outdoors for up to 8 hours at a time
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass background check
