Job description
Southeast Pet is currently seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk for its facility located in Austell, GA. (I-20 and Riverside Dr.) As an industry leader in the distribution of pet supply products to local retailers in the South East Region, Southeast Pet reputation for delivering outstanding service spans over 45 years and our team members “make the difference”. This Accounts Receivable position exists to assist in the facilitation of all day-to-day cash receipts related to the operations of the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Process the daily bank deposit of checks received by mail or by the driver.
Process credit card payments.
Posting and balancing all payments to customer accounts.
Keeping credit card information up to date.
Provide assistance with customer questions and concerns as needed.
Review manifests for payments missing/short; copy credit specialist on the discrepancies for follow-up.
Scan checks to Online Check Deposit program, balance and submit deposits
Customer statements.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Detail-oriented individual with 1-2 years of experience in an office environment
Good interpersonal skills and experience working in a team-based environment
Excellent time management, organizational & multi-tasking skills
Must pass criminal background and drug screen
Certified GA. Drug Free Workplace EOE
