Southeast Eye Group is Hiring an Optician Near Hiawassee, GA

Southeast Eye Group is offering a great opportunity for anyone with the desire to have a long lasting and satisfying career in the field of optometry.

We are a patient-centered private optometry practice with locations in Hiawassee, Blairsville, and Clayton, GA. Southeast Eye Group offers competitive pay, paid time off, health benefits, and monthly bonus opportunities. This position is full-time with growth opportunities at our Hiawassee location. Continued education is highly encouraged and reimbursed with a passing score towards a certification or license in the optometric field.

Responsibilities include being up to date on the latest lens materials and frame trends, taking accurate measurements, frame styling, repairs and adjustments, ordering, insurance verification and collections, and dispensing. We expect every team member to have a good attitude and be willing to help in other departments. All training will be provided on the job. Previous experience in the optometric field is encouraged, but not required.

Our ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, has a passion for working with patients, and has the desire to have a career in the field of optometry. This position is for our main location in Hiawassee but will require travel to our other locations when necessary.
