SOUTHEAST BEHAVIORAL HOSPITAL is Hiring a Dual Rate Table Games Supervisor Near Cape Girardeau, MO

Job Title: Table Games Supervisor 

Department: Table Games

Reports to: Table Games Pit Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY

The team member in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Table Games Supervisor is also required to practice the customer courtesy skills to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. 

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to:
    1. Clean – Keep all areas clean and pristine.
    2. Safe – Follow all safety policies and procedures.
    3. Friendly – Use customer courtesy skills of Company sponsored programs to provide superior guest service.
    4. Fun – Have fun! Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.
    5. Fantastic Value – Effectively manage and ensure an optimum value proposition for our patrons. 
  1. Interact with all guests and team members to positively influence the guest and team member experience. Demonstrate resiliency when faced with difficult situations under all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow team members.
  1. Must be able to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  1. Assumes overall responsibility for the effective gaming service activities for a designated area or table of the table games pit.
  1. Communicate any pertinent information to the pit manager, or other necessary team members regarding player information, title 31 information, suspicious activity, possible intoxicated guests, or any other information that is important to the operation of the casino.
  1. Ability to understand and use systems for table management, and casino management. Use computers to complete reports, look up player information, look up table information, and issue comps.
  1. Maintains constant awareness of activities of assigned area in order to observe and act appropriately in the event of any suspicious or irregular activity.
  1. Ensure integrity of table games in assigned pit area and protect the casino’s assets.
  1. Familiar with a variety of the internal control concepts, practices, and procedures.
  1. Leads and directs the work of others using a certain degree of constructive and positive feedback.
  1. Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.
  1. Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to define situations requiring the attention of management. Seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
  1. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs.
  1. Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical/mental demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to pull, kneel, squat and grasp as needed.
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Mental Demands:

  • Must be able to tolerate a variety of different levels of noise, illumination, temperature and crowdedness on the Casino floor.
  • Must be able to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.

Work Environment: 

  • Must be able to work in assigned areas with limited space, high volumes, diverse clientele, minimal and/or bright lighting and variation of climate control.
  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment with loud noise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Education:

  • Require a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Must be able to read and write.
  • Must have strong mathematical skills.
  • Must have experience in table games.

Knowledge:

  • Black Jack, Roulette, Baccarat and Craps strongly preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable of applicable Missouri State Gaming laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of game procedure and internal controls.

. Other:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License 
  • Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification relating to the position.
  • Must complete all required company training.
