We are searching for a Manager – Practice Administrator II to oversee patient flow and the daily operations for multiple locations (6or more), multi-specialty ambulatory practices. Position is responsible for overall practice operations for designated ambulatory practice locations but not limited to providers and associated support staff, strategy and development, budget, revenue, compliance, communication, quality and project management. Duties include oversight responsibility for assigned ambulatory practice locations(s), non-provider staff and activities. Duties involve direct oversight responsibility for staff. Position maintains collaborative relationships with various providers (e.g. Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Physicians).

• Hours: 40hrs
• Shift: Day Shift; 8:00am-4:30pm
• Location: Southcoast Health Obstetrics & Gynecology – New Bedford, MA; Travel to multiple practice locations

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• More than seven years of experience in a medical office practice is required.
• At more than five years of supervisory/leadership experience in an ambulatory setting is required.
• Certification in Physician Practice Management is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, provide strong customer service and demonstrate leadership skills is required.
• Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and previous Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience is required.
• EPIC experience is preferred.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and seasonal Influenza. Must provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment
