South Shore Harbour Resort is looking to fill an Assistant Banquet Manager position. Please apply now as we expect to fill this position quickly. You can visit our website for more information www.sshr.com We are looking for someone that is flexible and has a customer service mentality and approach. The Assistant Banquet Manager works with the kitchen, Sales and Catering, food and beverage outlets and the client, to ensure that the meeting space is properly set and the service flows as expected. He/ she makes sure the rooms for events are properly set, clean and ready. This role, under the direction of the Banquet Manager; is responsible for proper event staff utilization, maintaining quality standards and responding to customer needs and complaints. He/ she must be familiar and operate within the hotel’s cash handling policies when handling payment and posting banquet tickets.
