What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper with Quickbooks / Excel Req (Full Time) position at SoundVision, LLC?
SoundVision, LLC is a local growing smart home company. We are currently looking for someone to join our team as a bookkeeper. The position offered is full time, Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.
Is this you?
- Analysis - you enjoy monitoring market trends, you enjoy doing YTD vs previous YTD comparisons. You enjoy negotiating company contracts based on cost and worth. You understand the difference between cost and worth!
- Numbers - you are a numbers person. You can do math in your head and nerd out over new excel formulas or means of calculation. You have taken accounting classes, business classes and want a numbers job. You know Quickbooks and are comfortable demonstrating your skill level in both Quickbooks and Excel.
- Technology - can expertly use modern technological devices such as a phone, ipad, laptop. You know what apps are and how to download them.
- Analysis -you enjoy analyzing the data and presenting possible solutions and ideas.
- Data Entry - can accurately enter information into both excel spreadsheets and industry proprietary software similar to MS Access. You can import and export data out of excel like a champion!
- Time Management - you can prioritize and manage your time wisely. You are capable of working independently and are an expert level googler and creative self problem solver.
- Billing - understand the concept of doing progress billing invoices and are comfortable doing so. 50/40/10 makes sense to you.
- Reconciling - you are comfortable reconciling bank, AP, PO's and credit card statements. You love a good puzzle to solve so when there is a question, you are resourceful, able to not only cope, but look for Waldo until you find him.
- Payroll - you are capable of working with our payroll processing company. This means you can fill out a spreadsheet, calculate time and numbers and agree that no matter how much Starbucks you are offered, you aren't talking about anything to anyone about anyone else's salary, benefits or compensation because that isn't cool.
- Taxes/Audits - you are familiar with paying taxes and submitting information for occasional audits.
