A Senior Programmer Analyst to join our team! As the Senior Programmer Analyst you will be responsible for capabilities of the Episys Symitar system with regard to PowerOn programming, standard batch programming options, forms, and Episys parameter settings. In this role you will be responsible for leading maintenance and development of the Credit Union’s core financial system functionality through core system integrations, batch and on demand specfiles, reports, and file maintenance routines.

As a Senior Programmer Analyst you will…

  • In partnership with System Administrators and Technical Product Managers, maintain and customize current application software; design, program, and implement software solutions that meet business requirements using Symitar PowerOn, SymForm, SymXchange and other tools.
  • Serve as a resource for problem determination and follow-up; and provide technical support to users.
  • Participate in defining system requirements, develop and lead implementation plans, and test software and system capabilities.
  • Represent business requirements to vendors to define system requirements and help the vendors understand organizational needs.
  • Ensure the updating of credit union software by preparing new releases/patches/fixes/flashes from software vendor.
  • Maintain system integrity and work with staff to ensure that programs are accurate and usable. Make changes as needed.
  • Organize, document and maintain current, previous, and test libraries.
  • Ensure data integrity across all supported applications and platforms by monitoring operational procedures and activities.
  • Provide expertise when needed to repair malfunctioning systems or to perform systems configuration changes or upgrades that must be accomplished at times when no users are on the system.

Qualifications


Our ideal candidate will bring to the team…

  • Three years’ demonstrated experience in programming required.
  • Symitar PowerOn programming preferred.
  • Experience developing software requirement specifications, managing projects, and developing application software preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Information Technology Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Your compensation:

At Sound Credit Union we believe in paying our employees a fair and living wage. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s prior experience and education level as it pertains to their role. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates, which allows us to offer merit-based salary increases.

Minimum: $ 85,600
Midpoint: $107,000
Maximum: $128,400

Your hours:

A hybrid schedule Monday - Friday: 8 am - 4:30 pm.

In your role you will have the ability to combine in-person and remote work.
