About this Opportunity:
Our client is a privately held, medical equipment manufacturer committed to enhancing the science of bone repair. Over just a few short years, they have experienced unparalleled growth and market penetration. They are looking for an Office Admin/Events Coordinator to join the team.
This role will be onsite in Westminster, CO, and is a 3 month contract to possible permanent hire.
This is an opportunity to join a dedicated, experienced, and rapidly growing team that is aggressively growing. This is a highly visible, high impact position that will directly contribute to the growth of the business. The role will be vital in operations of the company.
Job Summary:
Ensure the effective and smooth running of the administrative team, office processes, and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will also have experience with planning a wide variety of employee appreciation activities and events on small and large scales.
Specific Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to a small team of Office Administration staff.
  • Coordinates with Executive Administration staff for internal office events and meetings.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of employee appreciation events such as the holiday party, in-office staff gatherings, office, games, off-site events, etc.
  • Adhere to budgets for employee appreciation events.
  • Provide helpful and friendly customer service to all office visitors.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness & presentation of common office areas, stocking of office supplies, coffee supplies, trash supplies and communicating with the cleaning team.
  • Indirectly support all employees by providing high quality internal customer service.
  • Managing schedules for conference and community spaces.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education or Formal Training Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred, high school graduation required, and equivalent of 5 years' related experience in office management with previous experience supporting internal events for a diverse group of employees. Experience working in a large organization environment is helpful.
Qualifications Required:
  • High level of organization with excellent discretion and judgment.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a professional environment.
  • Positive, professional manner, ability to improvise success and anticipate the needs of individual audiences.
  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters.
  • Maintain high level of business etiquette in receiving visitors or interaction with customers and vendors.
  • Ability to problem solve, work under minimal supervision while carrying out independent responsibilities.
  • High level of energy and willingness to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
  • High level of organization with excellent discretion and judgment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Extent of Supervision:
Minimal supervision while carrying out independent duties. A wide degree of latitude and creativity is expected. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Work Conditions / Physical Demands:
Able to do extensive computer work and sit for long periods of time while continually maintaining a cheerful phone presence.
Travel requirements: Minimal, if any
Benefits/Compensation (including but not limited to):
Contract rate: $25-$35/hour, based on experience and education
Upon permanent hire: Medical and dental insurance, group life insurance, 401k matching, short and long term disability, potential target bonus, paid time off.
