Junior Data Analyst
Nationally branded jewelry company, Sorrelli, is looking for a part-time data analyst interested in learning how to work with data in this hands-on experience. The analyst who fills this position will learn the field from top to bottom and will leave this opportunity with the ability to enter any fast-paced company with advanced analytical skills. Applicants must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent analytical skills, and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details. Applicants with majors in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, Economics or related majors are preferred. Must have used or be comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets. Must be comfortable speaking English.

Responsibilities:
The data analyst can expect to do research projects and compile reports. Examples of responsibilities include:

• Assist in preparing data to be used in understanding business metrics and trends.

• Clean up and format spreadsheets with large data sets.

• Assist with the execution of inventory planning and purchasing.

• Gather information and perform analysis on sales and growth in all platforms.

• Report to business analyst with thorough, accurate spreadsheets.

• Present findings in an easy-to-digest manner.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets

• Critical thinking and problem solving.

• Oral and written communication skills.

• Major in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, Economics or related majors is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

• Kutztown, PA 19530: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
