The Analyst’s main function within the Distribution & Content Services Technical Operations team is day-to-day support of Client Operations, which consists of client onboards and client profiles updates as well as troubleshooting some of SPE’s applications as a subject matter expert. The Analyst may also be called upon to participate in projects as needed which will require analysis, documentation and management. The Analyst will also need to frequently use multiple reporting methods in the analysis of the business.
Understand and interact with SPE Client Operations delivery system for updates and troubleshooting
Create and maintain all online training materials and test new system functionality
Collaborate with the Technical Operations team to create, edit and maintain processes and procedures in terms of each LOB’s specific needs coupled with system use to fulfill those needs
Perform analysis required to collaborate with IT to configure SPE systems
Identify and implement process efficiencies, especially as they pertain to the deployment of new functionality in DCS systems
3 years of relevant experience; media and entertainment specifically for media files – archiving, digital delivery, encoding, documenting requirements, configuring systems, data analytics – running reports, analyzing and presenting data
Associate degree required
Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong knowledge of MS Excel preferred (e.g., lookups, filtering, sorting, pivot tables)
Knowledge of Features and Episodes digital delivery preferred
Knowledge of 4K and IMF a plus
