Delivery Driver

Sonoran Doors manufactures custom high-end doors for the finest homes and commercial properties around the country. We are currently seeking a full time professional delivery driver to be based in Phoenix, Arizona. The ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment is essential. You will be fully engaged and busy from the first day.

Responsibilities
Receiving deliveries, making deliveries, loading, unloading, sorting and storage of custom wood doors and hardware.

• Operates truck observing all traffic laws
• Punctual for shifts and has reliable transportation (you are not required to drive your own vehicle to make deliveries)
• Follows directed route to insure on-time delivery of doors/hardware
• Lifts and carries over 75lbs on a regular basis without damaging the doors or items on the jobsite
• Communicates with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand where doors/hardware are to be placed. Can follow directions.
• Unloads, sorts, and stores doors and hardware properly as directed
• Maintains a clean truck meeting established guidelines
• Performs regular inspections of vehicles and equipment, notifying supervisor whenever appropriate.
• Performs general cleaning and minor equipment/vehicle maintenance as required. Assists with the Preventative Maintenance of the equipment, trucks, including the forklifts
• Fuel Vehicle as required
• Projecting a positive and professional company image
• Assists in the warehouse where needed, between deliveries

Additional Information

• Territory Phoenix/Scottsdale (within 50 miles)
• Deliveries typically occur between 6am – 2pm
• Full-time, Monday - Friday
• Rate of pay $18.00-$26.00/per hour, DOE

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and valid Driver License Must have a clean driving record
• Provide a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the Department of Motor Vehicles that has been approved in advance by our insurance carrier
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
